I have been having some strange issues with my Treo 650 when calling with the car. I haven't figured out the common piece (i.e. I can't consistently reproduce it) but it has happened 2 or 3 times now. When I initiate a call from my phonebook (i..e voice dial from the steering wheel) it will do a full reset on the phone. I've also done a "send" from a nav lookup and it reset the phone. It doesn't do it every time, like I said it has only done it twice out of say 10 or 15 times. Anyone else having these problems?

I had the same problem with my new treo 650 (3 weeks old). Go to the Plam One site and download the car kit/ bluetooth patch. There is a link on one of these threads for it, use the search function. My Treo no works flawlessly with my tl. Still no battery or antenna on the MID but does show caller ID.

 

You can check to see what caused the reset on the Treo 650. I don't know if the code is different for VZW, but for ATTWS, it's #*377 'Send' when on the Phone screen. This will tell you what caused the reset. For my phone, it tends to be a low memory issue. While I have about 10 MB free, I only have about 1.5 MB of free cache at times and this seems to be too little. I use a tool called "Memory Info" that shows how memory is being used.
