transfer a phonecall from HFL back to cellphone

just press the button and say "transfer"? Some times the HFL says "phone is in use" and refuses to transfer.

Whats the trick?

Good question....only way I have been able to get bluetooth to release in mid-call is to jam the earphone plug into the cell phone? This does raise a good question....I am sure there is a way to do it somebody can share>

i believe it says this because it doesn’t recognize what you are saying, just say it again and it should work.

Does your phone support transfer with the HFL system. If you look on the Acura HFL site, not all phones support the transfer feature.

I think the "Phone Is In Use" problem is a quirk in the HF software. I have the same problem with my v710 and have never found a good answer. Usually it only happens the first time your transfer a call until you shut the car off. The second and additional transfers will work fine.

It is some sort of issue with the initial recognition of the phone by the car. Needless to say I am sure it will be fixed in the future. BT is still in its infantancy so give it sometime...Like I said in my past posts about this issue.......I am sure the first headlights didn't work very well!

you sort of have to say "tronsfer" instead of transfer. I have that same problem - it just doesn't understand me. And I am a native english speaker.

I thought saying "transfer' to the HFL system transfers calls from Cell To Car. from Car To Cell, I go to phone's menu and disconnect bluetooth connection - Motorola V635
