I am in a pickle.

I downloaded the 4.92 (white) verison of Nav off of torrents, burnt the disc and upgraded.

It triggered my immobilizer (im guessing) and my car will not start.

I tried to revert back to the legal copy I own, ver. 4.55 i think, it downloaded but afterward the screen flickered and now the car will not start at all.

I have d/c'd the battery to try a master reset, but the whole car is acting crazy.

Any advice?

My battery decided to die during the middle of the update. I am good to go!

i call bullshit, i have the exact same torrent and it works perfectly on mine and many other peoples cars. you need to read the instructions more carefully

 

where did you get the torrent from? all I could find was websites where you had to pay for a membership to download it.

 

The battery could not have died at a more coincidental time, after replacing I was able to revert back to the old nav just fine. The upgrade ISO I downloaded had a Honda odyssey splash so I will probably Keep looking for the version with an Acura splash before I upgrade again. It seems like it will be successful after that now.

The 2012 version (ver 4a2) has the stock Acura Navigation splash screen

 

I would love to update to have the Acura Splash back, while I am relatively tech savvy, I don't think I am willing to photoshop and hack my image to replace the stupid Honda Odyssey splash that came on the image.

I need to keep an eye out for images.
