Is there a microphone upgrade for HFL
Is there a microphone upgrade for HFL
Hey guys,
Had my TL for a few months now and I enjoy it most of the time. But HFL doesn't have the greatest call quality. I'm using a Moto Q. I get the common "you sound far away"comments from my callers. I've read several posts and it seems that the mic/location sucks for HFL.
Is there an aftermarket mic upgrade/hack out there?
Thanks
Walt

I would like to know about this too.. this would be great. You know what I realized helps, if you kind of lean forward and talk into the mic... it seems to get better for them.
But I dont really thing there is anyway around a HFL sounding like you're on speaker phone, that's just the way it is. What would be cool is if there is some way you can relocated the microphone to a closer position.

Walt, I know the 2007/2008 versions had a noise cancelling element to them. But I improved my clarity with a different phone. I used to have a Treo, but I switched to an iPhone and my HFL links up with the iPhone MUCH better. Plus, people can hear me clearer too.
