Radio volume doesn't compensate for speed

I've tried every SVC setting (low, med, high) on my 2007 TL NAVI and none of them seem to do anything to the volume as my speed increases. Is the effect so subtle that maybe I'm missing it? Is there something I could be missing? In other cars with a similar system the effect is very noticeable and I really like it -- someone help me get it to work in my TL!

I don't seem to notice it kicking in until I get some speed on the car. Seems to adjust in steps (like 40 mph, 55 mph, 70 mph). I notice it, but it is not an "OMG!!" change.

Try it at Speed. Say on the Freeway at ~65. Start of with it at "none" or "off" and change it on the fly. Also set the volume to a moderate level, say ~10 when you test it.

2007+ TL's have this.

SVC characteristics:
low: 1 vol up every 15-20 MPH
Med: 1 vol up every 10 MPH
High: 1 vol up every 5 MPH

If you do not feel it getting louder, take it to acura. Most likely it is a Head-Unit that is mis-programmed or the amp is bad.

Don't know if the original posted still has this issue or if anyone for that mater does but I picked up my 08 TL base last July and I feel like the SVC hasn't workly properly at all since I got got it. At times I want to say it has changed but only when I'm listening to the radio. Never noticed a change when listening to a CD, on AUX, or even with XM radio. Not an urgent matter but I'm paying for something I don't feel is working properly.. I'll bring it up at the next service.

If I remember correctly, only the 2007/8 Type-S has this function.

Not sure if this comment was a reply to mine but my 08 base has it. It's an option when I go into the audio settings. That said, the 08 base TL has the option.
