Ok..i've been really itching to do this mod for months...and i think i have come to a conclusion to actually DO IT...


1st off the back...let me explain what im actually doing ...(Only Applies to Rear Type-S Aspec Peoples)... My Goal is to Add more lights in the Rear of TL...i feel that the TL lacks a few small features..so i thought of some on my own

ok thats been made clear...my goal is to use the TYPE S rear Diffuser Area of the Rear Aspec and add some lighting to it..


In The Picture...

1.) Im planning modding this area something red similiar to our Rear Side Markers...Yes i already measure our side markers the fit is almost perfect...a few modification and the fit should snug tight... but i want this section to server only TWO Function...just as our side markers..they just glow red when our lights are on...but also i want to add another function to it by making it blink in Sync to our Left Blinkers...Get my idea?..

2.) Simliar idea....full custom led strip maybe?.. a bit over 12 inches....Function on this will be Addtional Reverse Light...more reverse light maybe at a lower angle though...to see more grounding...i already have the Reverse HID mod done on my TL but it shines a bit high..im aiming this to be more of a lower angle towards the ground

3.) same function as Number 1...but Right Blinker..

4.) Paint My Bezel on my 07-08 Tails Matte Black ...and for the future mods light wise inside ill put that a hold...i have lots of plans for the tails...lots of switching up in there to do on light wise...ill explain that in the future after i tackle the diffuser mod first...

Mod 1 & 3

This is just identical to the Blinking Side Markers Mod correct?(https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...?t=703668)..im just adding more light so what all do i have to add??..resistors, diodes anything else?... or should i run a seperate power..straight from my battery 12v to be safer?..but tap the signal from the Side Marker (with blinking mod)

Mod 2

The Led will probally only need 12v to push...i could just tap it on to my HID reverse light mod (https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=766410)..and get the SIGNAL from the Green Wire Correct? so both light can light up in sync when i hit Reverse..

EDIT: SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY PHOTOSHOP hahaha i got lazy and used PAINT!!...but i get my point across RIGHT??? Any Thoughts or opinions on this?..please share...or even advices on doing this mod...especially wiring part would be great!!....

I believe there is a guy with a KBP around here with that mod already. I can't think of his name off hand though.

the chinese market TL's come with something like that from the factory. One member here did the conversion for it, and as well was the guy who put in the rear seat heaters if memory serves me correctly
