Don't see any point in having them in the rear head rests - even for show it seems kind of pointless.

Yeah, I hear ya; he should do what he wants with his car.

I guess I'm with MBenz, I'm just too old to get it

BTW - HoopZ look for a post by mmade22 in this sub-forum on the installation of DVD and headrest monitors. He posted up a DIY that might be helpful.

TVs in the all four headrests? Including the backseat headrest? Sorry dude but that's a complete waste of money. Do the front 2 if you must and bank the rest of your money.

I agree with MichaelBenz. At your age your want to be cool and that's alright

At my age I start getting those diseases called "rational thinking" and "common sense"

ive done this on a few cars and think its ridiculous. but whatever the client wants right. anyway if you plan on driving the car often you should have some headrest covers made or buy some premade ones. you dont want your expensive windows broken for some stupid screens.

If you feel the need to install more than headrest monitors in the front headrests, why not install one in the trunklid that only comes on when the trunk is open. Then you can play video games at car shows or whatever....still pretty useless, but at least there is SOME functionality.

Just my ...it's your car, do what you do pimpin'

If he does this I can't wait until a rear end thread pops up by him because the person who rear ended him was paying too much attention to 2 Fast 2 Furious on this kids "hater vision..."

My friend has an SUV done with screens in the rear headrests. I will never stop asking why. And I bet you'll be asking yourself later once the excitement wears off because they are completely functionless. Don't get me wrong, you'll be using your onboard DVD a lot, I do too. The novelty will wear off quick and you won't be turning on the power buttons way back there for no reason, I betcha!

I will be putting LCDs in the front headrests. The project has been sitting here for 5 months now waiting for the nice weather. (It's finally here!!) I won't turn on the rear screens unless someone is sitting back there. I don't know, either I'm too logical or too old!

But then again I don't think I'm too bad. Plenty of people told me it's illogical to do DVD in a vehicle and I'm too old for that too. To each his own. If it makes you happy don't let anyone stop you.

No I dont "DIGGGG...."

You think the girl is gonna stick her head on the rear deck to see what your showin on them? If so then (no offense to anyone) But damnn they blonde!!!!

Its not worth the money to put it in the back headrest, and trust me I was in your shows just a few years back and thought it would be cool to put in my 02 QX4 but then it got totalled and what, nothing, insurance wont pay for it....

Be smart, invest or save money....

girls will like it more when you got cash to spend and not pimpin your whip with $5 of gas in it.....

I think someone touched on this earlier too....but it does kinda yell out....come and steal me or break into me, ect ect. Probably not the best thing if you are going to be parking in a public lot.

compete waste of money, put them in the front headrests and use the rest to do something better for your car, Like RSB, Underdrive pully, AEM intake...

I wasnt implying that you don't have money... If it comes down to who you work for. Think about this, I work for myself and own hotels ok... But I am not relating to that, just listen to what others say. You asked a question and what kind of responses do you want? We all have stated our ideas and viewpoints, true nobody has done 4 headrest monitors and visor monitors, because we dont think that it is worth it... Now if you had an SUV it just may be a different story. But again many on this forum just dont think its beneficial. Thats all.

But when you get it completed be sure to post pictures!!!

Good luck man...look forward to seeing your finished product. I am a firm believer in "to each his own" and you are daring to be different. Get busy!~ I mean heck....this is coming from somebody running THIS as a gear selector in my TL...

LOL! I was just going to suggest something similar.

I've seen it done on a Chrysler 300 a few months back. I was behind this clown at a light and he was showing porn on all four screens (The close up "what the hell am I looking at?" kind). I'm sure all the parents behind him with their kids really appreciated this guy's need to flaunt his little peni....I mean, "show off his unique style."

Ya I know....I was just trying to be the bigger guy and leave the guy an out to take. Heck I know I did a lot of dumb things back in the day and learned from them all, so if he's got money to blow at that level - so be it! It definately hasnt been done before that I know of. Like I said....not my taste or cup of tea but then again...I dont drive his car. We all have to be happy with what we have and if thats his taste - thats good with me.

I suppose, if you're going to do it, you'd want to not tint the back window too dark. That would make it even more pointless. I do appreciate, though, a good installation, even if what got installed was something I consider silly. I'd like to see the results once you do it.
