Switching Non-Navi to a Navi

is it possible to do the switch and what is the cost to do so and amount of time thanks!!

You mean doing the conversion? if so anywhere from 900- 1300

Of course it can be done. wiring is a PITA but it cost me upwards of 1600 give or take for absolutely everything. I converted to the 07+ nav so there is more needed to make it complete

Cost me just under 1200.00. But I have an 05 navi in my car. If I would have opted out to get the 07-08 navi it would have cost WAAY more. I just saved some money because I found an Insane deal on the DVD player.

Post any questions you have in my DIY thread so others can see it!

Tho im not bzyrice.... i did the 07+ navi and to do it all was about $1600-1700.

This conversion is really not that hard to do. The hardest part is finding the parts and an installer.

HAHA i agree! Install that shit yourself.... or do like i did, i chose to make it difficult and use the harness from the navi donor car which required gutting it by hand... if only you could see the complete dash harness, floor harness and all the looms, tape, de-pin etc... shit ive done engine and tranny swaps(hmm one day i may swap in the 6spd) on other cars and that was much easier!! OOO almost forgot, its also fun soldering in the car.

Anybody know an installer in California that would help install this? I remember reading somewhere that there was a guy in southern california?
