Ed, please go to your doctor and tell them a general symptom of a sickness.
the Doc will tell you what I'm about to tell you.....

"your symptom is too broad, and we'll need to single it out"

this means, you need to tell us details.
Did it ever work?
when did it stop working?
does your radio work? if so, is the sub muted?
have you done any work recently that might have disabled the sub?
are you sure it's not working?

Yes, it may be minions found their way into the amplifier casing behind the passenger kick panel and are disrupting the sgnal or interupting it to replenish their power packs. Or it may he something else too.... Did you consider that? Let me know!

Sorry just had to try out being an azz.

It allways worked. It's not muted. I did no work on my car recently. When I play my radio it doesn't work. I checked there's no sound whatsoever coming out of there. But when I plug in my aux then it works.

Thats weird... Maybe theres a rip in it like the one i had in my old car... Had weak output and i couldnt tell it was on at all unless playing something with lots of bass content like dance music. Perhaps it is time for an upgrade.

If it works when your AUX cord is plugged into something than nothing seems wrong with the sub itself. Try disconnecting the battery and connecting it back. Sounds stupid but it worked on my buddies TL.
