Sub stopped punchin', any ideas???
Driving to work this morning my subs stopped hitting , I drive an 07 TLS .... I'm running a 500/1 jl amp and a kicker l7... my remote wire is ran to the fuse box in The kick panel on the drivers side via an add a fuse , still has power..... the main fuse by the car battery isn't popped and the amp still shows power.... I checked the hi /low converter that is located to the factory sub wires wit a brand new hi/low converter and still nothing.... the only thing I can think of is the sub is blown witch I highly dought or the fuse for the factory amp is blown witch I have no idea where its at... any ideas? Where's the fuse located for said amp?

Yeah, if you got juice at the amp...turn gain WAY down and connect ANY speaker you have laying around (even the factory one), then you'll know if it's the speaker or the amp. Probably one of the wires inside the box came loose from the speaker.
yeah that happend to me a couple of times. its always scary.
another time the it died out while sitting in traffic in 105 degree weather with just windows down (probably was 110+ in trunk) started working after i turned music off open ski hole and blasted ac for a while
