sub amp won't play while set to the...
accessory position. When washing my car, I like to play music but my recently bought 3G TL will only play my after market sub when the key is set to the "on" position. If I have the key set to the "accessory" position it will play everything except for the sub.
I didn't install this system but I can tell you the power cable is connected directly to the battery. Not sure I've seen this kind of hookup before.
Anyway, if anyone knows why this is happening I'd greatly appreciate some feedback.

First of all, it isn't a good idea to play a system off a battery (even the stock one) at all! It discharges the battery and can either leave your car in a non-starting condition and as well will reduce the life of your battery.
As far as the problem, check the remote turn on wire for your amplifier. More than likely it's hooked up to an ignition only source vs. the remote turn on for your other amplifier.
