Need advice/opinions on shallow mount 10" subs

I just got a fiberglass enclosure for my 05' tl for a great deal, its one that goes by the wheel well area. It holds a single 10" sub. I am thinking of putting a shallow mount subwoofer in it and the main brands I am looking at are kicker (cvt) alpine (s)
rockford fosgate (p3 shallow) and the mb quart shallow. does anyone have experience with these in a similar style box? pros/cons of any of them? I've done a little research but I know that the enclosure that you have these subs in makes a world of difference.

Why a shallow mount? That thing is probably over 1 cu ft and could do a better 10" sub.

There are lots of good choices. FWIW, I have FI Q in both of my fiberglass boxes.

Are used amps an option? I'm guessing new would be $200 or so? I think HSU Research has a 10" that sounds good, otherwise I heard the low end ID stuff is good regardless of the company status.

ya used is def. an option if its a good brand. right now im working on getting a used alpine type r sub for 45 local which will be a steal. so if I get that, I think im going to go with the alpine amp I think its a mrp500 or something like that. Its only like 130 shipped new from amazon.

with that budget, i'd say sundown sa-12 and soundstream stealth 1.600

Should be around 339 for the 2
