There are many options. Search, this has been asked and answered literally hundreds of times.

Dude, you really hate people who don't search!! But yeah, I think replacing the stock sub without any ampification is a waste. Just remove that POS to get bass into the cabin and get a real sub/amp combo. Now for the sub/amp combo, FFS do a search.

It's not that they're being lazy that bothers me, it really doesn't. Its because when someone comes on here to do serious research they have to sift through a bunch of bs posts. Notice how hardly anyone replies to these types of threads that are asked daily and when they do it's usually a noob with bad information. I'm really surprised yourself, eggy, and a couple others respond anymore.

When I started my research I was lucky that it was a few years ago and most of the threads were packed with great content and it didn't hurt that there weren't a whole lot of them to sort through.

IMO, it just hurts the board when you have a bunch of the same questions with bad answers. I'm not talking about your answers obviously but in general.

Back to this thread, you don't want to put an aftermarket sub in the factory hole, there are too many downsides and that's only if you can find one that fits. Pick your favorite brand and throw it in the trunk with a decent amp.
