sub+amp+capacitor install

1x JL Audio 1000/1v2
1x JL Audio 12w7 (custom ported box built to jl specs)
1x Kicker 4 guage wiring kit
1x JL Audio Bass knob
1x Power Accoustic 1.5 Farad capacitor

So yea, heres my system just got it installed on Saturday. I loved the way the guy put in the bass knob like perfectly for me. The guy was like the best installer in town, trust me I looked around haha. I bought all the parts myself and got them installed at Street Sound Plus. The shit just knocks crazy, I can't even turn it up half way when my girls in the car or she starts to bitch. Cant see the amp or Cap cause they are behind the box.

If you don't mind me asking , how much did this set-up cost you. i have been looking into doing something like this. And does this make your car rattle like crazy or no?

yea man i love it. it does rattle at higher volumes but not that bad. ill end up dynomatting the trunk later on. i got the SUB+CUSTOM BOX for $520+tax on this ebay store which i picked up locally near me. The Amp I got at this one local store for $650+tax and it has warranty and its the newer one 1000/1v2. I got the wiring kit from sonicelectronix.com for around $90. The capacitor was like what, $30-$40 and so was the bass knob. Both which I got off ebay. This is like my third or fourth sub install so I always search everywhere to buy the cheapest parts. I will rarely ever buy my stuff at the actual shop because I got jipped hard on my very first install. Anyways, All the bigger name companies in my area wanted to charge me $100-$125 an hour for labor but this guy did it for $175 flat rate and he had the car for about 4 hours.
