Anyone else get phantom "Bread Crumbs" on their NAVI screen?

Sometimes I think Aliens are taking the car at night, as when I start it up in the morning, there is usually a trail of bread crumbs heading out over the woods where I live into nowhere! Very odd.

THere seems to be no pattern to them either. I wonder if it is my unit, or if this is something that "just happens"?

I do... if you activate that feature to show off-route info, you will get all "bread crumbs"...

You could simple disable it and enable it, then they will be gone.

 

I have gotten phantom breadcrumbs on a couple of occasions. I finally figured out why I got them. I live in a condo with a circular drive into the multi-level parking area. There are high buildings around my condo. This combination can confuse the the Navi and there is also a delay in the navi picking up the satellites because of the tall buildings. On occasion the navi thinks the car is travelling some distance from a mapped road and starts dropping breadcrumbs.

 

WOW...thanks for the information...I too was wondering what those white dots were and since I also live in a Condo with uncharted private roads, I guess that's what they are. Thanks for the info...that's why I like this forum so much.
