Stereo gurus need advice

Hello all,

I plan on upgrading my stereo system by adding a sub and amp. I would appreciate any input on the stereo setup I plan on purchasing soon. My intentions are not to have huge bass output but more noticeable then what we have stock on a '08 TLS. I plan on going with:

1x JL 10w3v3 4 ohm subs
JL 250/1 amp
Uncald's Driver side sub enclosure

Also do you guys think that dynomat would be necessary in my case?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I've read good things about this setup. The sub and amp are suposedly underrated and should sound great for what I want.

Do you have an alternative? If you could provide a link that would be great.

Thanks.

As for dynamat, I would not think it would be necessary. I am doing the trunk sub, like you and hope that I don't need to dynamat the rear deck, though will if I need to.

Anyone out there with similar setup care to chime in on whether or not dynamat is needed?

if you dynamat the rear deck and trunk lid... you'll gain sound quality inside the car... cause theoretically you will not lose waves other wise lost in the rattling misture...

I personally have over 50 SF of it my Audio Setup... but I'm in a whole other level...

stereo integrity, fi car audio, digital designs, and image dynamics are better products at lower prices..jl audio is a great product and since it's mainstream people think it's the best..but price to performance ratio..it sucks..as far as the dynamat..i'd dynamat the rear deck..and the front doors to get that extra midbass from the speakers..

image dynamics still need a listen to DD, fi and stereo integrity - JL is OK, but after my ID will choose that over JL with the current lineup.
