First off hi to you all. I'm Pretty new on here, always been around just never really official till I bought my tl. Did my search but not getting anything like what I have.

So today get out to my car first thing I notice is key fob won't unlock car. Use key to get in, confused hit lock unlock a few times then all of sudden door locks worked. Go to start car. Nothing no dash lights absolutely Nothing as if car has no battery. Confused some more I open door to get out with keys at hand and the dash lights suddenly come on. Quickly put key in and it started. Wtf just happened. Got battery checked it's fine. Starter is good to. What gives? Any ideas people? Trying to get it to happen again but you know how that goes

 

Just for record it's a 04 tl base auto

 

Check your battery terminals. Sounds like one of them is possibly loose and not always making good contact.
