SR7 Install

Radar sensor mounted behind this part of grill. Wanted to mount higher but this was the easiest place to mount

Radar Sensor up close

LED mounted in blank panel. I switched the panel with the VSA so I can see the LED better while driving. Though the shape of the panels are different and don't look perfect. I might change them back to their original positions.

I mounted the display in the top compartment. Easy to see and hide when necessary.

nice radar. Sensor might work better behind the grill.

There is a picture titled "Radar sensor up close" which shows it behind the grill. Which sensor are you talking about.

From the arrow it looks like it is in the lower grill where fogs normally go. If it is then I was suggesting the normal grill in the middle. I could be misreading the picture though. Either way, looks nice.

Higher is better for line of sight

It is in the lower grill.. the upper grill it would be set back too far and would be kind of a pain. The sensitivity seems to be very good, considering how low the sensor is.

Bkly. how did you mount the display in the top bin? Did you take the center console apart in order to run wires back there, if so how do you do that? Thanks.

Hope to install a remote radar soon

pretty easy.. i didn't want to have to drill a hole but i was prepared to. the compartment is actually 2 pieces. all you have to do is put your hand in and push down and it separates.. very easy, run the wire through the left side .. i used a snake ..
