Sorry, but another damn iSimple problem!

Checked all the threads, just want a simple straightforward answer if anyone can chime in.

iSimple works for 6 months. Suddenly today when I press XM radio it skips Channel Aux 1 straight to 2. Ipod still charges, but does not play any music. Tried unplugging box and wires, no avail. Next step I will try to do the hard reset by touching the two capacitators. Anyone have this experience?

Thanks again!

Go into FM or CD. Go back into XM and immediately turn the tune knob to the right and left. You should be able to switch from iPod, Aux 1, Aux 2 and XM. Turn it to iPod, Aux 1, or whatever, and wait for 4 or 5 seconds. Now you are in that mode for the life of this session.

The first few seconds once you enter the XM is for input selection. You dial in your input and then wait of the selection mode to time out. Once it times out, you can control your device. If you want to switch devices, then you need to exit (FM, etc.) and re-enter (XM).

Thanks for the reply, however the problem isn't that my channel choice is wrong. It just skips AUX 1, it will stay on it that channel then automatically move onto 2. It seems as if it doesn't recognize that channel anymore.

Do you have the latest firmware? Did any of the dip switches get touched? Just throwing those out there for ya.
