You might try cleaning your disc first.

I think you were given the wrong (outdated) disc.
Look for a 3.40 to 3.80 disc in the Black Market section to update your Navi, unless you want to buy the new one for $189 from Navteq.

Once you have a working Navi disc, you set the clock by going into the setup screen and finding the option to set the time. Since you have the orange disc, that means you won't have the DST update. Have the clock set itself from the satellite and tell it not to adjust automatically for DST (you'll have to do the adjustment twice a year, next time being November 1 of this year).

Don't understand your question. If you mean you don't know how to set the clock, the answer is to go into your Navi's Setup screens and find the one with the clock-setting options.

If you mean your clock adjusted for the end of Daylight Saving Time one week early (end of October instead of beginning of November), the answer is to order a new disc. If you look at the dates, this thread is three years old. My prior comment noted that the orange disc didn't have a software patch for this issue. They've added one since then. If you don't want to buy the new disc, then adjust the clock manually and tell the system not to adjust automatically for DST. (This feature isn't frivolous. People who live in Arizona or Hawaii or Saskatchewan would have the "auto-DST" option turned off because those places do not observe DST except for the city of Lloydminster, SK.)

I undestand that.. I just didn't know if he was able to update it. So the Clock must be updated through the navi screen. thanks!
