Removing the Navigation DVD Unit

Hi guys,

Kinda hard to search when DVD is not allowed as a search term.

Anyway, I'm trying to remove my DVD Unit so I can send it out for repair. Is there a thread on the steps to do this? I pretty much tried pulling on the two tabs that are there when you flip open the initial cover, no go.

I don't have to remove my whole trunk lining right?

Yeah you do, but just in that area. The unit is held down by a bracket with 4 screws. Its not too difficult to get out.

I just swapped out my XM brain for a Sirius one. You'll definitely need to pull the passenger side liner out, but it is easy. Just loosen all the knobs that you use for the cargo net and it pops right out. The whole job will take 10 mins at best.

Try DVD* (Astrix included) and it will take the search
