Is it possible to "pop" out small bin with the flip down door that is just below the navigation system on my 05 tl? i know it was on my tsx but when i tried it didnt seem to want to come out. i didnt want to pull too hard without knowing whether it did or not...

no, it's screwed in to the radio and into the lower piece where the shifter is, you need to remove the silver trim, then remove the back of the center console and push it back towards the car. Then loosen the screws attaching the bins to the radio, and twist while pulling. An experienced tech can do it in 10 minutes, a newb will take about 45-60 minutes. A DIY of it is in the 3G garage.
