remote start

remote start

hey i was thinking of getting clifford remote start.... anyone tried it or have any feedback... i really want it im just afraid of hacking into your car electronics.... plus they tell me i have to always have a key hidden in the car ......

so someone could technically tow your car and they have the key and a bad ass ACURA lol?????

I don't currently have a remote start on my TL, but I had one on my old Acura CL. I loved it in the cold weather! You can find them pretty cheap online i.e. ikeyless.com

ya i was thinking off goin with the clifford but i was just afraid to hack into the car..... plus whats with the second key always in the car???

maybe you left your second key in there..? if you dont like it take it out, it isnt like the key is permanently attached to the car. it also may be your valet key

There's a whole thread on clifford/viper remote starters. Do a search for "very detailed" and use the quote marks. Clifftord, Viper, and Python are all made by DEI and they each have a model identical to a model from the other two. Just the names are different.

and you don't have to have a key hidden. Use a data transponder bypass and you will be good to go.
