I have a 08 tl type s and I just found out about this doms navtogo device and I am dying to put this in my car. I have the navi with the traffic and I am just wondering where to buy it and how it works? Do I have to pull dash apart? Please all the info u could give would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can buy it from dom @ http://www.tvandnav2go.com/. Call them and mention your from acurazine and it should be around 200 for the plug and play kit!

For the plug and play kit, you will need to take out the navi drive from the trunk and plug in the cable for doms, then plug the factory cable into doms, like a Y cable. Then you will just need to run a power wire and your video cables! For the audio, you can use the AUX port in the center console!

I did mine a few weeks ago. Had to remove part of the center console, the rear seats and part of the trunk carpeting. Its not too bad of an install. I'm planning on writing a DIY here sometime soon as i took plenty of pics.

What are you bumping for? The info is all out there...you just need to look for it b/c there is no point in creating more threads describing the same thing. Plus look up a couple posts. Not being mean but I was able to install everything with info on this site. Good luck, it's not that hard.

With the proper cables...Yes.

I am using the Apple AV Composite cables, and they work great.

will the doms unit also charge the iphone/ipod as well

Dom's unit will not charge the ipod/iphone...but if you get the AV cables I spoke of, there is a usb connected to it, which you can run to the lower compartment of your center console (where the aux-in is located) and add a griffin usb charging adapter for power.
