Does any one have any PICS for were they got their 12V remote turn on at.

I would love a pic from the xm remote turn on in the trunk or ........someplace easy to get to.

I've tapped into fuse boxes before but they were BIG fuses. These new cars have tiny fuses and I have no idea how to tap into a fuse like this a picture or a discription of how to tap into the fuse box would be great.

 

I remember seeing an image in this 12V accessory wire thread. This might help although it is not at the trunk like you asked.

The fuse tap is from Radioshack but they are designed for the larger fuses. Carefully use a grinder to grind down one end until it will fit together with the mini fuse. It's a four pack so you'll have 4 tries to get it right. You're going to need to use pliers while grinding because it will get pretty hot.

It's pretty simple to run a remote wire from the fuse box to the trunk.
