Rear trunk lid speakers?

My sub in the rear trunk lid sounds like shit some times so i was thinking about changing it out for another speaker, but if i was to go through all that i was thinking if you could put something bigger in there? It looks like an 8' sub and i was wondering if a 10' would fit in there. I have seen pic of the top of the trunk lid from the inside of the car on here but haven't seen any from the inside of the trunk with the bottom of the speakers showing.
Basically i wanted to change out the 8 with a 10 and try to seal the rear trunk lid to get a harder hit out of the sub with out losing trunk space or adding to much weight.

I think I've had too much coffee this morning sorry if I'm repeating

trunklid I think you mean that rear deck, right? Well if so, the only sub that will fit without serious cutting and welding is the JL8w3v2. It drops in, but you need an amp and can only run free air as there is no successful way to seal up the deck unless you want to cut the shelf up, reweld it and add some fiberglass.

Yes rear deck sorry. I was looking to see if any other TL owners have attempted to change the rear deck speakers with something with a little more kick. The last thing i want is to lose trunk space.

no unfortunately there is very little space. we have like 34059304594305390509130429090 posts on this. Honestly just go with a basslink.

If you dont wanna take space, then use a Basslink, Otherwise think about a JL sub and amp combo. Like I've said in other posts Uncald4 can help you out with a custom box. Itll look nice. and sound Great Trust me I got a 12W6V2 with an uncald4 fiberglass box, being pushed by a JL 500/1
