"real Time" Switch
That's a negative...
I'm sure there's some crazy involved way (ANYTHING is possible after all)... But I am sure that since it is one of the main selling point of the RL, Acura would do their best to make sure it wasn't easily transferable to the TL....

Agreed... I am working on something right now, but nobody is helping me over at the RL forum so I can't proceed with my idea. Well, I lied, you can... but the cost is very high....
You could buy the new pinoeer nav system - just the dvd drive and nav program with the gps rcvr... install that...install the avelectronics unit...and then flip back and forth between the two (using a simple switch)....
but the cost is way 2 high for it to be worth it... at least i dont think it is worth it...
i have another idea, and I am working on it... but I iwll have to wait until somebody over at the RL forum helps me out

Let's keep the faith... Acura or Alpine would come out the better solutions for us to upgrade. Since Pioneer has their own product now and more and more maps online start to provide "real-time" traffic info, we would get it, soon... IMO.
