Radio not shutting off / coming on randomly

My 2004 TL developed an odd issue a few months back. Randomly, when I get out of my car the radio will stay on. The NAV screen back-light (only the back-light because the unit in the trunk stopped working a while ago so I removed it) and radio will stay on even though the key is out of the ignition and the driver door has been opened. I've noticed a related issue to where sometimes my car will power off properly, however the radio will be on when I come back to it the next day (or in a few days). It's as if it turned itself back on over night. This has resulted in a dead or nearly dead battery a couple of times.

I suspected it was the door sensor initially, however the windows and door lights do shut-off properly when I open the door. Also, the only way that I have found to 'fix' the issue in the short term (IE: get the radio/nav to go off) is to pull fuse #7 under the dash. The issue always returns.

Any idea what could be causing my car to act up?
