Radio Code not showing

On my 08 Canadian TL when I turn the key to “ON” and hold down “1” & “6” then push the radio button to turn it “ON” nothing happens. Is there another way? No stickers on glove box, nothing with owners manual. Nothing under fuse box in engine bay. I bought this used and need to change out the lights next to the Nav screen. I’m worried I’ll have issues once I go disconnecting things. Any suggestions? Thanks

if you do a search on google but add "site:acurazine.com" to your query, you'll 99% find that your question has been asked and answered in the past.

Thank you. I was searching but all I found was the info I posted. Didn’t find the one with the link. Thanks for your help.

If nothing on then you will need to pull the radio out and write the actual Serial number off the label down.

I called Acura and told them I could not get a code to pop up. I was told if the radio is still working then that function will not work. It only works once the radio is locked. I was trying to do it all in advance before I disconnected my battery this weekend. Apparently I’ll have to find it out afterwards. Doing the hyper bushings, trans fluid, CT shifter, slave mod and replacing all the bulbs on the nav and heated seat buttons.

If you are replacing the lights the radio needs to be removed so you can easily snap a pic of the serial #!

I put my CT shifter on but it seems too low. I couldn’t get it on any further. Anyone know if this looks correct?
