1. The HFL will still work, the iphone will pause the music and automatically send voice through bluetooth to the HFL Unit then resume when call is ended.
2. Yes you can run pandora through the isimple from your iphone in AUX1 or AUX2 mode, not in ipod mode on the isimple. I use shoutcast radio in AUX1 on my iphone while driving and the i use IPOD mode on the isimple for my itunes music
