My friend and I looked at 2005 acura tl w/navi and surprised to discover the navi screen was not touch screen. Regards to touch screen, the sales person said that 2006+ Tl's only come with touch screen navi.. Is this true?

 

No. All 3G TL's 04-08 W/ OE Navi are touch screen. The 4G 09+ do not have the touch screen navi.

Maybe it was aftermarket, or broke screen.

I would assume so, if the the car is still under the factory warranty. The mileage must be under 50K, and date the car was originally sold will determine if it's still covered, since it's a 05. I believe it's a 4 yr 50K factory warranty.

I have a 05, still under warranty. I called an Acura dealer and they told me exactly when it runs out next year.

 

all 3G TL's 2004-2008 have a touch-screen. As well they have a little joystick with 6 buttons.
