I just had a TSX loaner for a week and it always displayed the artist name/song name on the XM radio. I noticed when I got my TL back that is doesn't display this info????? Is it possible to get the full detail display? I have a non-navi 05 TL with XM (still on XM trial).

I have navi but I was wondering that same thing. It only displays the info when the song first starts, and it is annoying when channel surfing.

 

the audio screen on the navi shows all the info. Pressing the display (disp.) button, next to the xm button, shows all the info. I think pressing this button, labeled (disp.) will change the main display for non-navis, as it changes the upper display with navi.

am i making any sense? so, the non-navis can only display one bit of info at a time, either channel number, channel name, artist, or title, but you can select what you want to display.

 

So if we have navi we can get it to constantly diplay the info on the upper display?

Basicly the upper display for the navis, is just like the regular display for non- navis. The navi TLs also allow you to show the info all at once on the navi screen, which you probably know.

He probably just needs to press the display button to change the info.

 

The disp button only seems to let you choose one item (artist, title, station, etc.) at a time.

I would like it to continuously scroll the artist and song title across the upper screen. The only time it does it is once, when a new song starts.

Anyone know a trick?

 

No, there is no way to change that. If you had the navi you could see all the info on the screen.
