Putting in a 12" sub in the back 50-350 watts RMS... will stock amp push it?

Hey guys, I'm kind of thinking of putting in a 12" subwoofer in replacement of the 8 inch in my TL. Will I have to change my amp or anything of the sort? Also, can I just use the wiring for the 8 inch in my new sub? The subwoofer in question is a Sony Xplod 12".

Thanks in advance

It will not even come close to push it. Max power for the stock amp is @ 2ohm and that is not even enough.

i always wondered with the peeps that have navi and dual 12s in the trunk. when the women/man says something does it also come through all the speakers? so instead of your normal nav voice, it will be more like god talking to you or something? that would be cool though hehe...

I dont see how it would cause problems with the navi. All you are doing is tapping into the sub feed and adding more bass.

Only problem would be if you added so much bass as to shake the DVD laser and then it would be more glitchy than all out non functional.
