Push Button Start and Passive Keyless Entry

I previously owned an 2007 IS350 and it had Push Button Start and Passive Keyless Entry. I now have an 05 TL and 07 H3 Hummer, I am seriously thinking about installing this on both... Has anyone else tried it? If so, what do you think? Any pics of the push button installed?

i have a push button start but the key still needs to be inserted.

passive keyless entry IMO would be a task too difficult to be worth it.

I did a remote start in my 04 6sp it was a big pain, I sure a push button start won't be to much harder than that but I wouldn't never think about going through it again.

I could live without the push button start.. but the keyless part I love. There is a way to do it .. I read it on another forum somewhere... I gotta look.

That's pretty cool but I wish I didn't have to drop the key off in the bucket, would prefer to keep it in my pocket.

yea that is kind of stupid, in the video he said the range of the receiver is 5" from where the thing is installed (in the center console in this case). Why not make it 2'-3' range so you can keep it in your pocket

There's a fairly simple method I've been looking into that does both: Advanced Keys.

I'm actually more interested in the turn to start system rather than the push, but they have both.

someone already posted this before, but still a nice reminder. That thing seems to do everything. I like it. I probably wouldn't spend the money because carrying a key around is not a big deal for me but I know some people who really hate it so this would be perfect

Advanced Key ftw. The Manager of the company has it installed in his tsx. You should go with it and keep us updated.
