I installed my isim73 last week and have been having some funky issues with it. When i go to turn off my radio it doesnt work a lot of the time, also when i go to switch from say fm radio to xm or ipod i have to hit the button like ten times to get it to do it. anybody else have any of these problems and if so any fixes? I bought mine used off amazon so it didnt come with all the instructions.

 

I would manually reset the unit.

ya I figured this is what I needed to do, really not looking forward to taking the dash back apart though. I put it near the top though so maybe I can just remove the heads up display and get to it that way

 

So it's inside the center console? I put mine in the drivers side footwell.

I have the same issue. Updating and a reset made no difference. I don't even use it anymore lol.. It's just in there for no reason. I use a plug that charges and also connects. Sound qaulity it same as Isimple. Bad side is I control everything from ipod.

 

Any idea what firmware you are using? I glanced through a post that indicated going back to an earlier firmware version actually fixed problems.

 

not sure i still havent had time to take it out this week. I plan on doing it sunday hopefully
