Problem placing calls with SE T608
Problem placing calls with SE T608
Hi,
I have a 2004 TL (love it). I am using the SE T608 with it. In general, the phone works well.
My problem occurs about half the time I use Hands Free Link to place a call. After I dial, but before the phone starts to ring, I hear the tones that signify that the HFL has disconnected. Then, if I try to redial, it says the phone is in use. The audio has apparently reverted back to the phone, instead of HFL. Of course, by the time that I figure this out and pick up the phone, the party I am calling has usually hung up in frustration. Of course, I do not want to have to pick up the phone while I am driving.
As I said, this happens about half the time that I place a call. The other half, everything seems to work fine and I am able to hear the phone dial, and the response at the other end.
I do not press any other buttons or give any voice commands after dialing. the phone is always in the armrest storage compartment next to the driver, and it is always plugged into the charger.
Any ideas about what is causing this or how to prevent this from happening?
Thanks
Rocky

I'm not sure what the cause is, but mine does this as well with the T608. Mine does this when I am answering calls though. The incoming call alert comes on, but when i press the answer button, it cuts out and reverts to the headset.
anyone have a solution or cause?
(a quick solution is to push the button and say transfer, then it will transfer the call back to the bluetooth, but by then whoever is calling might have hung up.)
