Has anyone sorted out if there's a way to have the nav system show your phone's phonebook on the navi screen on a pre-'07 TL? Sure seems like that's a software issue and not a hardware issue . . . is it as simple as getting one's hands on a new DVD?

I have an '05 navi TL (and this is my virgin post, so forgive me if i've messed anything up here - i looked and looked to see if this had already been discussed, I promise!)

 

the hardware that makes up the 07 nav is decently different than of 04-06. so it could very well be a hardware thing.

oh yea, the 07 nav disk is not compatible with 04-06 because of these hardware differences.
