Phone icon and temp reading stopped working
The phone inidicator above the audio system no longer shows the phone icon and the temerpature indicator now shows three dashes (---). The dealer cannot find what is wrong and wantsto take the bumber to check the temperature sensor.
One other thing that happened at the same time, the radio presets just disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, do you know how to fix?

Yep, try disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for about four seconds, then reconnect. Another way is to remove fuse #7 for the same period of time. It may be a temporary fix or it may be permanent. Mine has been okay for nine months since I did this trick.
This problem is effecting both Navi and non-Navi TL models. Therfore, having the dealer replacing the Navi unit is probably not the root cause. Others have had their fuse box replaced.
If you perform pull the fuse to "reset", the dealer will not have any codes to work Acura Techline in order to determine the root cause.
If everyone keeps resetting by pulling the fuse, Acura will never be able to figure out the issue so a TSB can be released.

Yes, I recall the tech's comments. He said "three months or so". Well, three months have passed, thus the "or so" must be the operative time frame. Seriously, I hope you are right but Acura has unfortunately been glacial in their efforts to resolve some problems. Anyway, I'm not holding my breath.

I cannot speak for all car makers, but I know that Mazda is slow in fixing their issues. I had a Mazda Millenia S that had the check engine light turn-on whenever the temperature was below 32 degrees and the car was being cold started after sitting overnight.
Long story short, it was the computer making the fuel mixture too rich. I had to invoke the Lemon Law in order to motivate Mazda to fix the issue by sending me the computer of a R&D car from California. I had the car about one month when this problem started and the dealership had the car for almost 30 days (Lemon Law).
My point to the 3rd generation TL owners is that Acura and it's dealerships are not going to know how often and how many cars experience the flatline issue if the TL owners continue to perform the Band-Aid fix.
