Peripheral Install -- Need Help
Just finished the install of a Peripheral unit on my Canadian TL. Since the '06 CDN TLs did not come with XM, I simply installed the connector into the open port on the back of the radio.
Prior to reinstalling the dash I tested the unit with my iPod Nano and nothing! Head unit does not appear to recognize the Peripheral unit or any external CD changer. With the head unit free of any CDs, the cycle sequence is -- FM1, FM2, AM, repeat. Checked and rechecked the connections and they are all ok.
The one glimmer of hope is that when the iPod is connected to the Peripheral it shows that it is charging.
Any ideas?

Please disregard -- figured it out!
After a couple of stumbles out of the gate (mainly user issues), so far so good -- the peripheral unit is working well with full text.
