Just picked this up from future Shop, it is version .25 i wanted to know what to do with the dip switches, all on or all off or a few on ..... it came with the last switch in the down position/ installing tommorow....

1. Start by going to http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/firmware/
2. Choose your operating system
3. Follow Instructions (all dipswitches in the ON position)
4. Voila! Firmware Updated!

 

I hooked the unit up to my computer and it won trecognize it, Ill install it an dsee how things work and if needed Ill use a laptop in my car to update the unit. Ive done a ton of research on this also, but some are saying put the last dip switch on and the instructions i have say to put the first one on. Ill try both ways....wont hurt as the unit will be easy to gain access to. Thank you ..
