Did you look on the Acura site?

www.acura.com/handsfreelink

Might want to search this site too, but I'd start at the Acura site.

I just answered your post in the other thread "Official List of Bluetooth Phones Compatible with HFL". It works but the battery and signal bars don't show.

DO NOT get the Nokia 6682 phone if you care about bluetooth integration with your Acura. I have tried 2 different ones and they don't work right. First of all, it's a b***h pairing the phone with the car sometimes. But of course that's not too much of an issue, right? Normally so, but the Nokia 6682 doesn't hold a pair for long so you will end up having to re-pair and re-pair and re-pair over and over again. Or reboot the phone now and then. The biggest problem I had with it is that it's good for One Call per pairing! I mean everytime I use the phone as soon as I hang up, I lose the connection. I then have to turn off the bluetooth o the phone and then re-pair the phone to regain connectivity.
I love the Nokia 6682 despite it's other faults (all software issues ie. rebooting itself and freezing up on me) and would have kept it regardless in wait for a software update but not if it still wouldn't work with my car.
Right now I have the Sony Ericson s710 phone which I hate with a passion. The 86682 was supposed to be a replacement for it. I'm keeping the s710 tho, cos even though I don't like some of the features, IT WORKS. The phone pairs beautifully with the car and keeps it's pairing. U walk close to the car while it's on and it immediately detects the HFL and you're good to go. I just wish the 6682 could do that. The 6682 is one hell of a phone!

I WOULD SAY YES, I HAVE A NOKIA 6620 I HAVE PAIRED TO MY TL AND I HAVE PAIRED A NOKIA N70, THESE PHONES RUN THE SAME BLUETOOTH, I HAD A 6682 BUT IT WAS DROPPED ON THE FLOOR BY THE CINGULAR REP. I COULD NOT GET ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE IT WAS ON BACK ORDER. I AM GETTING THE N70. YOU THINK THE 6682 IS NICE, CHECK THE N70 OUT, PLEXMIX.COM

Yeah, anyone with the new firmware (4.62.0) ? Wondering if it still disconnects after the first call.

Either through Cingular or Nokia. If through Cingular, you need to go through XBM. If Nokia, just exchange it under warranty. I haven't exchanged mine yet. I'm waiting for iunlock.com to get it so that I can get it unbranded.

Ok, just an update...I couldn't wait for iunlock.com to get the firmware so I exchanged my 6682 via XBM. The new one I got has the 4.62.0 firmware. No more problems!! It does not disconnect after the first call anymore! Plus, the new firmware got rid of a couple others (call logs disappearing after a power cycle, Copy contacts from SIM message).

Even with the new firmware, the 6682 has issues, particularly when you use the transfer function from the phone to the HFL. messes up the HFL every time and locks up the phone. Rebooting the phone seems to fix it but it's unacceptable. I have 5 more days to decide whether or not my 2 6682's go back to Cingular. Maybe I'll get a new SLVR. Anyone try these yet? I would think they're the same as a RAZR and I'll get battery and signal strength too. Damn Nokia. Messed up a really good thing.

6682

I have a 6682 with the new firmware and I've tried everything just to get it to connect to my '05 and it won't. I tried letting the phone find the car and the car find the phone and everytime, I get nothing. Is there something I'm not doing or what? Please help!
Thanks
