New Sprint/Samsung firmware release for the Phantom ringing issue

FYI:

Sprint has released three firmware updates today, one for the Samsung MM-A900 and two for the Samsung MM-A940. Firmware ZB12 for the MM-A900 fixes problems with a Bluetooth phantom ringing issue. The MM-A940's first firmware update resolves many issues with Bluetooth and Internet Access. The second update, ZA13, fixes problems with Picture Mail. Sprint stresses that MM-A940 owners must run software update twice, as users must install the first update before being able to access the second.

All three updates are high-priority, and Sprint encourages all users to update

I have I Treo, so I can't tell you. You'll be the first to tell all us, I guess. ;-)

I saw it on the Sprint forums, so I thought I'd let you guys know. Let us know your results.

Please, any updates on the compatibility? I am looking at purchasing the A900 but just want to make sure that the compatibility issues have been fixed with the firmware updates. Are you still not getting caller ID on the screen?

Go to http://www.handsfreelink.com to check out phone compatibility. If it's not certified by Acura as hands free link compatible you are on your own.

You can download new firmware to your phone OTA (over the air) whenever you like. There is a menu option in your phone.

The more recently released phones yes. Probably not many that came out over a year ago.
