New Nokia flip phone?

A week or so ago, I saw the tail end of this commercial that looked like it was for a Nokia flip phone and it said something about coming soon this summer. It said it had bluetooth connectivity. I didn't get the model number. I only see one flip phone on Nokia's web site but it is a CDMA phone and is not available in my area.

I'm still in a contract right now with Cingular till the fall and after that I am going to get a bluetooth phone. I really liked the quality of the Nokia's but I went with a Motorola this last time to get the flip phone feature.

Anyone know what this phone is or am I just crazy?

Maybe so, I could have sworn it was a Nokia though. I'll have to wait and hope I see it again.

6255i is a CDMA phone so it will not be released by Cingular. I think Midwest Cellular currently sells the phone and you can find unlocked ones on ebay that you can activate on Verizon.

Your right it is a CDMA phone. I guess this is the one I saw when I went to the website. The 6170 or the one that is coming soon, the 7270 don't mention anything about bluetooth.

D'oh! My bad. I didn't see this. Umm...I know Cingular is getting a Nokia flip this summer...I thought it was the 6255, ugh...sorry guys. The 6170 does not have 850 so Cingular is out of the question hmm...time to do more research.

I have played with both. On the 6170, the 1900 Mhz GSM band sound quality is awful.

Seems kinda large, and no vibration, odd. I finally did see that commercial again and it was for the 6255i, however I still only saw the last bit of it and it did say it was coming soon. Maybe the GSM model, perhaps??
