Question Question about Blitzsafe on non-navi CDN

I've searched and did not come up with a satisfactory answer to this.

Is the Blitzsafe adapter for video input or audio input or both.

I have a non-navi Canadian model and am thinking about using the XM input, for an aux in. Do I still need to use a Blitzsafe ?

Does the Blitzsafe just convert the mini-din plug to rca connections, or is it an active device with some smarts.

The Blitzsafe like others (P.I.E., & Soundgate) are strictly for Audio input.

The plug required to connect to the back of the TL radio is a rectangular 14 Pin plug.

I have yet to order mine, but will probably order one soon.

Best regards fro Montreal, Canada
