Why go through the hassle.
If you don't understand what he means by "running a wire to"...I would stop right there and keep this plug and play.
You want the white LED's on while driving just turn on your parking lights and not the low beams...Keep it plug and play.

Just sold my set this morning to a cool dude from FB marketplace from Canada...look forward to seeing them on his car.
