I installed a Viper 5902v auto starter alarm into my 04 Tl today. The installation went very smooth but now I can not program the DBALL into Viper 5902v. i did all the step like the DBALL manual said but the light keep on flashing orange continuously, I read the DBALL manual and it said in the Description: Turn the key to ON during the programming sequence determines when the module bypass is successfully programmed.
I re-checked my wiring and they are all good.
Anyone did this kind of installation and got the DBALL programmed?

 

Solved the problem by taking the DBALL to a Viper dealer and they flashed it to the new Firmware and the TL in it. Everything work like a charm now... very happy with the unit right now...

 

how much they charged you for the update? i ask becuz i bought the DB-ALL a while back and then started reading and reading and reading and i get real anal when working so because i dont trust installers and couldn't tell what firmware it was using, i bought an XKLOADER2 on amazon for 30 bucks and just updated my firmware. it came with chrysler firmware. i just updated it to HONDA4 2.08. Very easy using VIP4.2 on xpresskit.com

 

the dealer did the update for free as it was only took less than 5 mins to do so and I already wired up the AS and the module at home and tuck all the wires neatly inside. All I need to do was program the DBALL into my Viper 5902v and I was good to go. I did that in the parking lot and right away I got the Alarm and Auto starter working.... I installed all the electronic toys in all my past and recent cars but I must say I love the DBALL in my TL with 5 wires connect for the easy installation...
