Hey guys i just did a navi conversion on my tl and I forgot to buy the ac display over the vents so I just have the clock. I was wondering if it was possible to take out the bottom compartment under the radio so I can replace it with my old non navi radio display so I can have the display of the ac and the temp, if there's a way to have that at the bottom where the storage compartment is under the radio, and the navi at the top and make it all work? I could really use some help with that!

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that won't work. I had both out the navi and the non navi info screen and it seemed to me as if the non navigation info screened also housed the climate control brain. So in other words you either have the navi connected or you have that control connected but they can't both be controlling your hvac.

 

Alright so what other options do I have?

 

Sounds like you don't really have any other options other than to return it back to the way it was, or pony up and pay for the missing parts you still need.
