Hello guys,

Recently I sent my REAR dvd trunk unit for my 2004 TL navi into alpine for servicing. Unfortunately, Alpine returned the unit unrepaired, claiming that there had been water damage to the unit somehow

Now I find myself requiring a replacement for the dvd drive unit.

My question is, as long as it is 2004, 2005, or 2006, i should be good, correct? As in, I don't need to buy anything additional to make it compatible with my current 2004 navigation screen/unit?

I hope someone can verify this for me, as i am currently looking on Ebay and elsewhere for a replacement, and it would be much easier if i wasn't simply limited to year 2004.
