Navigation Reset

Sorry for the message if this has been asked, but a search on "reset" did nothing for me.

Is there a quick way to do a complete (total) navigation reset?

Yep. Disconnect the battery or you can find the fuse for the navi and pull the fuse out. Remember you may have to enter the radio and navi codes.

There are a couple fuses in the fusebox which are partially for the navi. Somebody with the service manual can look at the wiring diagram and let you know - I don't have the manual or the TL anymore.

The circuit diagram shows #7 and #32 fuses in the fuse box in the left kick panel. Try the #7 fuse first.

Thanks, it was #7 a 7.5 AMP fuse.
Question. Where can I get the a power source for the RGB from the trunk? The one to the DVD NAV is always on even when the car is off. I am not sure if the unit will draw the battery dead...
Any suggestions. and thanks again for your prompt reply

I'll probably get crucified for bumping an old thread. But I just wanted to show that I did search first. My car battery was dead so I jumped it. Its up and running now but my nav and back up camera arent working. I put the code in for the radio but I cant see anything to do it for the nav. I tried fuse 7 and 32, any other suggestions? Thx

Did you put in the code for the Nav? Because the Radio code & Nav code are two (2) separate codes that need to be entered.

I disconnected the battery and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Hooked it back up and was able to enter both codes. Thank god... Thought I fried something.

Hey Alphapitm, did you get yours working? Sounds just like mine.

I have checked the fuses mentioned in this thread, and they are fine. My radio works, but not the radio station display. My clock works, but is the wrong time. There seems to be a back light to the navigation but it's basically just black.
