Hey all,

I got a mailer from Acura about getting a new Nav DVD. Obviously we all think that $150 a year is a little on the high side. Well I went to the website www.acuranavi.com/whiteservice and saw that they offer 3 years of DVDs for $300. I went ahead and purchased this but I wanted to pass it along to you guys. I know not everyone needs to update their nav every year but I thought it was a decent enough offer from Acura, plus free shipping if you order before the 27th of December. Can't wait to get this into my TL-S.

 

That's not bad, but the DVDs usually go on sale before the next year comes out and they're $100.

Good to know I suppose, but glad myself and several other Azine members bought the brand new 2013 OEM disc for 50 bucks shipped on ebay :-)

On acuras website they sell 2014 Grey and White DVD Map Update v4.C0
What is the difference between grey and white? I found the white 2014 v4.c0 online and im about to download it.
Any tips? has anyone done this before?

This was a killer deal and many bought them.

 

Curious, I heard that you need specific code (that is tied to your VIN) when installing a new NAVI disc. Is this correct?

(I currently have a 2005 TL with the original NAVI disc.)

 

Got mine last week from Ebay $69. Works great so far!

Man I need to seriously take advantage of the $100 deal for the 2013 disc when its available again before the 2014.

Im still on the orig. disc and so many roads are missing. I would at least have 8 yrs worth of new updated streets.
